Administration Oversight
Committee
This committee was created to accomplish five functions:
(1) to assist the Director by providing a forum in which to discuss
the numerous administrative issues that arise in managing a complex
Center; (2) to involve more investigators in Center governance;
(3) to train future Center leaders by giving them experience
in working through the problems that face a research center;
(4) to expedite the work of the Executive Committee by analyzing
the issues which arise and by offering them recommendations for
solutions; and (5) to help oversee the process of organizing,
writing, editing, and compiling the center grant competitive
renewal application. Meetings are held at least monthly but no
more than weekly.
