The Executive Committee functions
in an advisory capacity to CURE's Director, making recommendations
regarding new policies, programs, key personnel, and major financial
matters.
All standing and ad hoc committees
report and recommend to the Executive Committee which, in turn,
recommends to the Director. All investigators receive Executive
Committee minutes and are encouraged to attend meetings and/or
submit agenda items. The Executive Committee meets bi-monthly,
although special meetings are frequently called when urgent matters
arise. The committee's membership is comprised of Core Directors
and representative investigators appointed by the Director for
three-year terms.
